Choosing your competitors

Your comp set is the group of up to five competitor hotels Rate Radar tracks alongside your own property. You pick your comp set during onboarding (Step 2: Create your comp set).

To add a competitor:

1. Choose one of the suggested properties listed under Local suggestions.

2. Alternatively, you can paste the property’s URL and find it manually.

3. Repeat until the Selected (X/5) counter shows your full comp set. You can select up to five.

In Step 3 (Set short names) you give each property a display name of up to 20 characters. Short names appear in charts and tables. You can edit short names later in your Rate Radar settings.

The comp set itself cannot be edited after onboarding. If you need to swap a competitor — for example, a hotel closes or a new one opens nearby — contact support and we'll make the change for you.
